Manulife set to run second Virtual Career Fair for the Philippines

Following the success of Manulife's first Virtual Career Fair held in July 2020, Manulife Philippines are set to launch their second event taking place on the 7th December 2020, for one-week.
Both virtual fairs have been designed to attract and engage with talent in the Philippines. Sharing jobs from across the business and the opportunity to chat with Manulife team members via live chat rooms. What made the first virtual fair so impactful was the process and functionality design that enabled the HR and TA teams the opportunity to interact and screen candidates, while the rest of the business (including individuals at the AVP level) the ability to represent their department from the comfort of their own home. Hiring teams managed their own booths, interacting with candidates via text-based chat, video or audio as well as providing live job listings and useful material such as videos and brochures. Manulife's focus on building valuable relationships and connections, resulted in a record-breaking time-to-hire experience for some, some receiving offers within 48 hours from their first interaction. All of which supports Manulife's position as an employer of choice across the Philippines.
With nine departmental booths, the July 2020 fair surpassed the original goals in terms of attendance and application numbers, achieving a staggering 99.3% attendance rate. Over 2,500 chat sessions were conducted during the course of the five-day fair, all of which were highly targeted and scheduled. Creating a fantastic opportunity to engage in real-time, two-way dialogue. Close to 100 representatives from across the business were available online, providing this invaluable experience and connection to jobseekers in the market.
